The Vancouver Housing Authority is seeking an experienced residential developer to develop an approximate .45 - .93-acre site for residential use with the majority of units as affordable housing. The developer can propose development of the entire site or 50% of the site. It is anticipated that a single, four-(4) story structure with 50+ comprised of studios, 1-bdrm, and 2-bdrm units on half the site and 100+ on the entire site. It is anticipated that parking will be located on the first floor of the building with units above the parking. The property would include common area with a management office.
Potential VHA participation in the development:
- VHA master lease of all or an agreed upon number of the units once completed
- VHA sale of land, 1031 exchange or land lease agreement
