The VHA’s provision of links to third party web sites on the Site is for your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such other web sites or their content. The VHA has no control over, does not review, and cannot be responsible for these third party web sites or their content. Please be aware that the terms of this Privacy Policy do not apply to these third party web sites.

Certain portals on the VHA website are hosted by third party providers and not VHA. They are the Web Application Portal (vancouver.apply4housing.com), Applicants Portal (applicants.vhausa.com) and the Partner Portal (portal.vhausa.com). VHA does not and cannot control the security of these portals. You understand and acknowledge that VH A cannot guarantee that any Personal Information you provide on these portals is secure and you do so at your own risk.

7. Security

The VHA uses reasonable measures to maintain the security of your Personal Information. We use industry standard SSL (secure socket layer) encryption whenever we ask you to login to the Site and when we display your Personal Information. However, no company, including VHA can fully eliminate security risks associated with the transmission of Personal Information through online transactions, and you do so at your own risk. Those portals as described in Section 6 are hosted by third party providers and VHA does not control the security measures offered by those providers.

8. Privacy policy updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason; each version will apply to information collected while it was in place. We will notify you of any material changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy on our Site.
